This timeless, grand farmhouse will be exclusively yours during your visit. Surrounded by our 520 acre sheep farm, The Country Estate offers a distinctive and spacious home for you to enjoy. We are able to accommodate couples, families, or groups. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, reunion, business meeting, church retreat, desire a farm experience, a country holiday, or a special place to stay near historic Bedford, we can help. The Country Estate is open year-round and each group is given personal attention.

County Estate Rates

The Country Estate is a lovely farmhouse that can sleep up to 15 guests. Additional guests can be accommodated under special circumstances. From the graceful, wrap around porch you will enter into a large, fully equipped kitchen. Country kitchens are special places to share good food and good times. Gather together in the living rooms to enjoy a wood fire, playing games, reading, watching your favorite VCR tape or DVD, listening to music or making your own music on the piano. Fish in your own private, stocked pond or just enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds you. At the end of the day, you may want to roast some marshmallows over a camp fire, tell stories, sing songs, and marvel at the stars.

Beautifully furnished, the house has a total of five bedrooms. Each bedroom is decorated in a uniquely pleasing style. The spacious first floor master bedroom and adjoining bath offer added convenience and accessibility. You will be pleasantly surprised by the top quality bedding and towels provided. Laundry facilities are available. The house is centrally heated. Tall windows offer a soothing alternative to air conditioning - the country breeze.

Guests of The Country Estate can also enjoy the Game Room which offers a ping pong table and a large recreational area. Out-of-door activities include a tree swing, hammock, or how about a game of horse shoes or Bocche Ball?

In order to serve all our guests, there is no smoking in the house and pets are not permitted on the farm. Horse boarding is available for an additional fee to our guests who chose to bring their horses.

2008 Rates

Groups up to 10

$ 299.00 per night

2 nights minimum stay is required ** 3 nights minimum is required over Christmas, New Year, Fourth of July, Martin Luther King weekend, and President's Day weekend.

for each additional guest over 10 - add $15.00 per night
after a 2 nights stay, subsequent nightly rate is $ 249.00
additional guests over a party of 10 at $10.00 per person per night
weekly rate for groups of 10 or under is $1,450.00 ( 6 nights and 7 days )
weekly rate for groups of 10 - 15 is $1,599.00
weekly rate for groups of 16 - 20 is $1,699.00
"The Country Estate" can hold a maximum of 20 guests.

Smaller group rates available at The Silhouette,
Shepherd's View, and the Cabin On the Hill.

A 6% PA tax and a 2% local tax are also charged on the rate.

Full Farm rental is also available. We extend a special invitation to families and individuals who are planning reunions and small weddings to consider Monsour Sheep Farm and Vacation Homes. We would be delighted to assist you in providing a beautiful setting for your special event.

Reservation Policy:

A deposit for the first night or half of the total is required to confirm your reservation.
Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
A full refund, minus a $50 non-refundable reservation fee, per home, will be given if your cancellation is received 30 days before your arrival date.
We rent to family groups and adults over the age of 25.
Check in time is any time after 12 noon.
Check out time is before 4 P.M.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
No pets are allowed.
